Boys Noize records stalwarts Shadow Dancer are planning to release a new album. Well, we say new album – it’s more a retrospective of the Manchester duo’s music from 1997-2002. It’s going to be released on Bad Life in January 2013 and will be a must for fans of the duo, or for anyone who wants a concise catchup.

Check out the schizophenic mixtape below, which is so leftfield it’s the musical equivalent of bath salts – but stick with it as the duo manages to hold a decent groove amongst the unnerving acid zonks and scratchy synths.
