Pioneer DJ has today announced its most compact and flexible player to date, the slimline XDJ-700.

The new player offers the same performance as it’s more expensive cousins but it won’t break your bank account at it only costs just over £500.

It’s Pioneer’s first player at this price point to offer Pro DJ link – which allows DJs to share one source with up to four players daisy-chained together, tracks can either be loaded via USB or Wi-Fi.

Elsewhere the dinky player offers Hot Cues, Auto Loops, Slip Mode and Beat Sync, and there’s also a large, full-colour LCD screen that gives important information about cue points, wave forms, loops and track info.

In other Pioneer news, the company has announced a nationwide UK tour for its new and improved RecordBox software. Pioneer will be teaming up with local dealers across the country to help up-and-coming acts and rising stars alike get to grips with the new software.
