Premiere: Disco Edit-ers Marvin & Guy Breathe New Life Into Rainbow’s ‘Stone Cold’

Having secured a spot on the third instalment of the Eskimo’s recently released Orange collection, Marvin Dan III & Lee ‘The Black Belt’ Guy, aka Marvin & Guy, return with another one of their transcending disco edits.

Having released underground gems on Let’s Get Lost, On The Prowl, I’m A Cliche, and their own M&G Edits imprint, Marvin & Guy have got a knack at uncovering hidden, long-lost gems to breathe new life into, and that’s exactly what you get with their edit of Rainbow’s 1980s track ‘Stone Cold’.

‘Stone Cold’ saw chart success for the UK rock band in the 80s, and is the perfect fodder for the duo to wring out every last sinew from the original’s iconic riff for a stunning disco edit.

Stream M&G’s edit of Rainbows ‘Stone Cold’ exclusively above and then stream the duo’s restrained psychedelic disco track ‘Unfailing Fall’, which features on the Orange Collection, below.
