It takes a brave person to re-edit Todd Terje’s seminal disco track ‘Inspector Norse’ but that’s exactly what New York-based producer Justin Van Der Volgen has done.

Understandably, he hasn’t run rough-shot over a future classic, but instead he adds his own quirky touches to the original. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s better but if you’ve listened to the original a billion times you might find this re-jigged version gives it some more legs.

Simply put: it’s an extension of the best parts of the original.
