Disco legend Nile Rodgers and CHIC have signed to Warner Bros. Records and will release Rodgers’ new CHIC album, the first for 25 years, this coming June.

It’s actually a bit of a home coming for Nile Rodgers who released ‘CHIC-ism’ on Warner Bros Records way back in 1992.

A new CHIC album marks a remarkable turn around for the legendary producer who struggled to replicate CHIC’s success in the 90s after the tragic loss of CHIC co-founder Bernard Edwards.

But since beating cancer, and relentlessly touring with CHIC playing the classics around the world, the disco producer’s remarkable return to form culminated in last year’s mega hit ‘Get Lucky’ alongside Daft Punk.

Rodgers is currently finishing the first new CHIC album in nearly 25 years, with the first single scheduled to drop on March 20, followed by the album in June.
