The Warehouse Project has revealed that they will be returning to Store Street for one year only before the 10 year celebration next year which is expected to be at a larger venue somewhere in Manchester, possible Mayfield depot.
Having moved to the larger Victoria Warehouse a couple of years ago, WHP will be scaling back this year’s run of events at the more intimidate underground car park located beneath Manchester Piccadilly train station.
The opening night’s line-up has been revealed with the rest of the 12-week run to be unveiled sometime in July.
“A percentage of the people who attend WHP might never have had the opportunity to go Store Street. Those who did know its an unbelievable space for WHP, hidden away beneath the Manchester streets,” explained Warehouse Project’s co founder, Sam Kandel.
“We said last year that WHP would be taking a different approach in 2014 and many will have been hearing rumours about something new in the pipeline for 2015 for the 10th Anniversary.
“So 2014 is about WHP going back to its roots. Smaller capacity, more intimate – an opportunity to revisit our spiritual home for one year only before we take the next step..”
