The Chemical Brothers don’t often do freebies, so when they offer you one you should probably snap it up pretty sharpish. The Chems have had a fantastic 2012 with their live CD ‘Don’t Think’ shortlisted for a Grammy, and, of course, the duo made a song for the London Olympics velodrome.

This month’s mixtape is ready and waiting for you. It actually started out as normal monthly re-cap – but somehow it turned into a Daft Punk mega mix – not sure why, but I’m sure you’ll all agree that’s never a bad thing.

It’s not everyday you get a mixtape from Hamburg duo Digitalism, so when one does come along it’s usually pretty good. Well today is your lucky day as the Hamburg tag team have unleashed a September mixtape, which sees the duo spin through 17 tracks in just under an hour ranging from abrasive electro to playful electronica and everything in between.

It’s new mixtape time; this month we’d thought we do a mixtape back-to-front – starting off fairly briskly with plenty of WMB’s from JLC, Blende, and Boys Noize then moving on we hit the delights of the fascinatingly morbid ‘Fat Controller’, Surrender’s ‘Fast Days’ and Daniel Avery & Deadstock 33′s ‘Nylon Icon’.
