Aeroplane’s Vito De Luca surprised everyone last year when he unveiled a new alias, Flush, and a new track, ‘Come Back Baby’. Ostensibly a place for his more house-leaning output, the Belgian producer quickly found a home for his new alias via seminal house label, Strictly Rhythm.
Fast-forward to this week and the sometimes disco producer released a new mixtape – his first for quite sometime – and is now giving away a free edit Timmy Thomas’ ‘WCWLT’, which featured prominently in the mix. As far as edits go, it’s right up the there, as De Luca adds in his trademark glowing synths around the original’s gooey vocals, and then gives the track a shuffling backbone to make it the perfect party-starter.
Might 2016 finally see the producer release the follow-up to his debut album, ‘We Can’t Fly’? We sure hope so.
