Alex Gopher’s music career has been as long as it has been varied. Originally he played in a band called Orange with future Air members Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin. His music has developed over the years from French house right through to atmospheric electronica, with his latest EP ‘Hello Inc’ very much on a leftfield pop tip.

It’s not everyday you get a mixtape from Hamburg duo Digitalism, so when one does come along it’s usually pretty good. Well today is your lucky day as the Hamburg tag team have unleashed a September mixtape, which sees the duo spin through 17 tracks in just under an hour ranging from abrasive electro to playful electronica and everything in between.
Digitalism’s DJ Kicks is still getting regurlar spins at HBF towers and marks a welcomed return to electro for the Hamburg duo, ‘Falling’ is every bit as raptourous as any of their classics from ‘Idealism’ – so it’s only fitting that it should have it’s very own video.

Released in 2009 on Kitsune, Digitialism’s video for their club hit Jupiter Room mixes live action with computer generated wizardry. Directed by Scott Altham, the final edit was created Nathan Green who edited green screen to produce animated LEDs which move in sync with the music.
