Alex Gopher’s music career has been as long as it has been varied. Originally he played in a band called Orange with future Air members Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin. His music has developed over the years from French house right through to atmospheric electronica, with his latest EP ‘Hello Inc’ very much on a leftfield pop tip.

From the opening bars of ‘Hello Inc’ you really do get a sense you’re listening to the long lost member of Air – it’s brimming full of doughy keys, glassy synths and icy vocals courtesy of Saint Michel.

There are a range of remixes on offer, notably Hamburg electro duo Digitalism and DJ Falcon. Falcon turns his remix into a smokey piece of folksy electro pop – it’s a ruthlessly efficient remix – but never really mind-blowing.

Digitalism inject some of their famed energy into their effort creating a punchy big-room remix – they take it to the surgeons table to and slice and dice the vocals and the main hook to give it a glitchy glaze.
