When we heard that Sasha is going to release a second album we got very excited, then we heard the track and we got even more excited. And if it’s even possible we’re even more excited as the second track to be unveiled from ‘Scene Delete’, via the fine folks over at Mixmag, is everything you could ever want and more.
It’s near-enough-makes-no-difference perfect. And we really mean that. There is one small issue: it’s just not long enough. I mean, sure, it’s 5 minutes long, but it deserves to be longer, so you can really savour it.
There’s nods to his first album in there too, with the aquatic undulations of ‘Dremples’ and the gooey basslines of ‘Magnetic North’ immediately springing to mind, which gives this relatively restrained track a warm glow throughout.
