The world’s of Daft Punk and Star Wars collide in a brilliant new video that has been created by Infectious Designer, who are renowned for splicing the best of video games and music for amazing Youtube mash-ups.

The video – expertly dubbed Darth Punk: The Funk Awakens’ – sees electronic heavyweights Daft Punk reimagined as Darth Vader and Boba Fett, who are on a recruitment drive for the darkside.

Throw in a load of neon-clad special effects, some clever dance moves, an unnamed woman who looks like The Force Awakens‘ star Daisy Ridley, and you’ve got 5 minutes of Youtube gold.

Were now off to make our own version of the Daft Punk/Darth Vader helmet, because why not.
