Stream The Chemical Brothers’ New Track ‘Sometimes I Feel So Deserted’

The Chemical Brothers are back with a new album, ‘Born In The Echoes’, and a new track, ‘Sometimes I Feel So Deserted’, which just had its first play on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show.

It’s not what you’d call ‘single’ material, but to be honest that’s a good thing, that award will be given to a collaboration with Q-Tip in May.

The album is already up for pre-ordering in a range of guises from screen-print vinly to a Deluxe CD Album and will be available on July 17, just in time for their Glastonbury, Bestival and Sonar headline shows.

We’d love to tell who the vocalist is, but we can’t, it’s not even written on the Chems’ official site which does have the album’s tracklisting, and depending on the version you buy features 16 tracks, including 5 bonus tracks.

As the for the track itself, it’s a little less ear-catching that you might think, combining grungy, mechanical electro with acid house and an intoxicating vocal. It would be an unlikely candidate to finish their new live show – but it’s certainly a grower. Ask us again tomorrow.

‘Sometimes I feel So Deserted’ taken from the new album ‘Born In The Echoes’ which features collaborations with Q-Tip, St. Vincent, and Beck will be out July 17, 2015
