It’s been a long wait for Ratatat fans, but there’s finally a new track to shout about! It’s vaguely tropical flavoured, and packed full of that classic Ratatat guitar sound that I can’t seem to replicate no matter how hard I try. It’s just so smooth, while retaining that perfect level of grit! In fact, ‘Cream On Chrome’ describes the sound perfectly.

Incidentally, ‘Cream on Chrome’ is also the colour scheme of the new bike I’m building up for my girlfriend. You didn’t need to know that, and I highly doubt you’re interested, but now you know it, and you can’t un-know it.

Bring on LP5, I say, and at least I’ll have something good to listen to while I bloody my fingers trying to strip down bike parts.
