Eskimo Records alumni, ATTAR! returns from a short summer break with a new remix for Australian buzz-band Clubfeet, who are about to release a new 6-track EP featuring their breakout single ‘Cape Town‘ alongside remixes from fellow Australian Panama, UK house producer Aashton and New York’s All Dom Wrong.
Renaud Deru’s rise from the ashes of Mustang with his 8-bit inspired solo moniker has been impressive – and his remix for the Clubfeet showcases just why Eskimo Records were so keen to signed him up.
Deru’s remix of ‘Everything You Wanted‘ is slow and smouldering, as he blends boneachingy beautiful vocals against big, lush keys. But it’s actually the clever chopping guitars licks, and bulbous basslines, that caught our ear the most as the track builds towards a warm crescendo.
Tackling ‘Cape Town’ is UK house producer Aashton, whose follows recent remixes for the likes of Logo (Kitsune) and Compuphonic (Get Physical) with a stripped back percussive remix, perfect for late nights on dark, smoke filled dancefloors.
