The Royal Concept is a new Stockholm-based indie band formed by band members of Robyn, Tove Styrke and Veronica Maggio – in 2011.

To celebrate the release of their current single, ‘World Of Fire’, the band has made a rather impressive cover of Daft Punk’s seminal track ‘Digital Love’. Now, normally we probably would post a cover of a track, but once you see a full band recreate the song using an array of keyboards, guitars, drums and their own vocals, you’ll soon realise is this is a probably the closest we might get to a Daft Punk band in the traditional sense.

Very impressive! Love that guitar solo – so different to hear it on a real axe.

Amazing cover. I think it actually kicks more than the original on the drop!
