We’re really quite excited about the debut album from Hoaxx – if you’re not familiar with them – they’re a UK duo from London who make a trashy, funky electronic version of 90’s brit-pop.

They’re kinda like a UK version of Justice (I know, that’s a lame comparison), but the only difference is their inspiration is UK indie, electro, rock and pop – you might think that’s a bit of a tall order to pull off, but we’ve listened to their debut album ‘Who’s the Queen’ a few times this week and they’ve totally nail it.

It’s jam-packed with side-chained basslines, catchy singalong chorus’ and has plenty of variety – we’d even go as far as saying it’s one of the best, most surprising, debut albums we’ve heard in a long time.

Out on the June 8 exclusive to Beatport, June 22 everywhere else.
