Resident Advisor’s readers have spoken and voted German house machine Dixon as their number one DJ for the third year running ahead of Maceo Plex and Tale of Us.

Resident Advisor said about Dixon, “There’s a simple reason why this keeps happening. Dixon, more than perhaps any other DJ, has a monk-like devotion to his craft and to his fans. Hardly a fraction of his week isn’t spent somehow upping his game. He skips pre-gig naps to edit tracks in his hotel room, making nips and tucks to render his theatrical house bombs that much more explosive.

Having seen both Maceo Plex and Dixon spin this summer we can confirm on their day they’re are untouchable when it come to fashioning forward-thinking DJ sets.

Elsewhere, the UK’s highest entry (no.4) is Ben UFO, whilst the highest female DJ was Nina Kravis who placed 20th.
