Deceptively simple yet steeped in complexity, ‘Disco Lights’ sees Mickey weave a shiny disco groove of clever piano flourishes and tiny guitar loops, before furnishing them with a gooey house bassline and the obligatory looped house vocal. See, simple. It’s basically the epitome of a disco-house track, and it’s a bloody good one too.
