Well, kind of.

Someone – almost certainly not Daft Punk – built their own faux pyramid stage in the desert at The Forgotten City festival (an off-shoot of Burning Man), and played the robot’s live show to around 800 people.

As you’re probably aware there’s a cottage industry on being a Daft Punk impersonator, some good and some not so good.

None, as far as we’re aware, have gone to the lengths of creating their own pyramid stage to sell the illusion – clearly, then, whoever pulled this stunt off deserves a bit of credit.
