Four ravers were stabbed after a fight broken out at Bowlers Festival in Trafford Park this weekend.

The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning after a row broke out on the dancefloor.

One man, 25, was stabbed in the thigh, and three others suffered wounds during the altercation at the Trafford Park events space.

All of the victims were quickly taken to hospital but their injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, possession of class A drugs and has been bailed until September 17.

A second suspect, also a 20-year-old male, was detained on suspicion of section 18 assault and has been bailed until September, too.

Bowlers Festival was billed as a 18-hour old-school rave marathon, and featured live PA’s from forgotten artists including Oxide & Nutrino and Shola Ama, alongside a host of old-school rave DJs.
