We welcome Pineapple Pop, the new alias of Hemi Behmoaras, to our mixtape series, The Blogcast.

One half of production duo Paradisko, Hemi has been making a name for himself over the last 12 months with productions on On The Fruit Records, and now under his new Pineapple Pop alias.

Having already picked up support from luminaries including Mighty Mouse, Blende and Moonlight Matters, Pineapple Pop represents a feel-good fusion of house, garage, and soul.

You can get an idea of what to expect from Pineapple Pop in the future as his first original track, ‘RVLTN’, kicks-off his hour long mixtape.

Pineapple Pop is set to play his first gig in Berlin alongside Local Suicide this weekend and his 2nd gig will see him warming up for Fritz Kalkbrenner in Istanbul.
