We’ve been keeping an eye on Parisian NEUS for a while, over the last 12 months his style has been leaning a little too much towards dumb-step for us – which as you’ll probably know we’re not that mad for (take note PRs) – but we do check out his soundcloud page every so often as he’s so prolific it’s hard to keep up with him. Today we happened across a noisy French gem from his latest EP ‘Pussy Weed Money’ (we know it probably the worst name for a EP ever).
NEUS has been on fine form recently – we featured the Parisian several times before, but more recently last week with this amazing remix of Trentemoller’s ‘Miss You’.

Young French electro chappy Neus has got 2 new EPs out, we featured him several times, and we still don’t know much about him except we’ve found out he’s called Gael Neus, figures really. He probably likes to let his music do the talking – just how we like it.
Young French producer Gael Giudicelli aka NEUS might just have uploaded the defining remix of his young career so far. His last remix hit the dizzy heights of the Hype Machine popular chart and his new remix is almost certain to do the same – he’s remixed The Toxic Avenger’s ‘Angst One’.
We featured NEUS ages ago on HBF, we recently wondered onto his Soundcloud and saw that he has uploaded 4 new tracks – 3 originals and a remix of man-of-the-moment Skrillex and his track “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites” – oh and the Skrillex track is some pounding dubstep – but we like dubstep, so there.
We thought we would compile the ubiquitous “Top 10 of the year” and rather than limit it to just albums we thought we would open it up to artists in general. Every conceivable type of music that we’ve loved over 2010 – singles vs albums, mixtapes vs bootlegs; anything goes. Oh and we’ll do 20. Who wants ten anyway ? That’s not even one a month. Once again we’ve been alerted about a new remix from Irish Steph, we’re starting to suspect that it might be the man himself. Just like last time we were left a message in our comments section. If it is the man himself – we thank him as it’s great – it’s a bit more funkier than usual, and you could easily mistake it for something Yuksek had made. It’s that good.
