Belgium’s most exciting deep house producer Compuphonic, aka Maxime Firket, is back again with a new song from his debut album – it’s being released on Get Phyiscal which is perfect for fit for him as his music always reminded us of some of Booka’s early classics on the infamous German imprint.
Boom! Round two of Compuphonic and Kolombo’s new ‘Artifice’ EP is here. ‘Walking On A Cloud’ shows off KC’s (get it?) deep house credentials – it’s not heads down plodder territory, but it is your everyday deep house with sparkly pixie dust sprinkled all over to give it that otherworldly quality – can’t wait for round 3. Ding, ding.
Not many of you will remember but Compuphonic was one of the very first artists we posted about on HBF – well we’ve posted almost everything since, which unfortunately hasn’t been that much – but when he does release something it’s always of a ridiculously high standard.

It has been a couple of months since we have heard from Compuphonic, but he’s made a new mix and it’s a spring inspired mix, with a healthy dollop of mature deep house, tech beats and smidge of arthouse techno – a real connoisseurs mix. Perfect for the beginning of spring.
We’re going to take it down a notch with some classy deep house from Belgium’s Compuphonic – it has nothing to do with the record label of the same name – but the moniker of Belgium’s Union Match head-honcho Maxime Firket; the smoothest classically trained producer we’ve come across.
We’ve been massive fans of Belgium dude Compuphonic since HBF started, and he’s ready unload the third release on his own imprint Union Match Music in December with remixes from Lee Jones and Glimpse. They’ve kept that so recognizable melancholic “sound” & they reshaped the structure by taking different ways to sublimate the original track. [...]
We haven’t featured Union Match or their deep melodic house guru Compuphonic for a long time, but were going to remedy this with a splendid mix he has done on his Soundcloud and you can grab it for free.
