A couple of weeks ago we came across a post on Facebook post from mastering engineer Rob Small that said he had just finished working on something “very special” from Daft Punk, declaring he “can’t wait to hang it on my wall”.

Someone has since messaged Rob Small to find out what it might be — understandably he’s unable to confirmed exactly what the release is, whether it’s a reissue, something for Record Store Day, or something completely different — he did say it would be available, if everything goes to plan, in 9 weeks via an as-yet unnamed French label.

So what could it be? The return of Roule or Crydamoure? Guy-Man’s side project? That RAM remixes album we were all promised. Nobody knows, apart from Rob Small and Daft Punk of course.
