Amtrac has been making some excellent electronic music over the last couple of years, and now that he’s relatively established there’s no better time to launch his own label, which he’s dubbed Openers Records.

His latest track ‘Piano Boy’ is the first taste from his new EP which will be released on the producer’s new label and it features – yes you guessed it — a train-load of pianos.

For our money there’s nothing wrong with a really good piano track, yes they’ve been done to death, but so has every other surefire way to have a hit. And ‘Piano Boy’ certainly fits the bill for an uplifting cut of piano house – but don’t just take our word for it, Pete Tong premiered the track last week on his Radio 1 show – so it must be good.

And it really is.
