2015 has been pretty good to Canadian producer, Tiga – two of his tracks, ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ and ‘Bugatti’, ruled clubland, and he performed live for the first time ever, with the help of Stuart Price, and long-time friend and collaborator, Jori Hulkkonen.

And to cap it all off, the Canadian producer has just unveiled his next single, ‘Don’t Break My Heart’, and the release of his third studio album which is set for an “early 2016″ release via Counter Records (a Ninja Tune imprint). “It’s a natural fit – I’m the original Counter. I count RESULTS. Advantage: Tiga City,” says Tiga.

‘Don’t Break My Heart’ is a cool-as-you-like cut of acid house that’s primed to find a home in the dark, smokey corners of clubs and warehouses across the world. It’s a classic cut from the Canadian producer who blends subtle acid hooks against rolling basslines, and his trademark washed-out vocals.

“Seven years is a lifetime, especially for lifetime full-time dreamers like me,” explains the producer. “Entire fantasy worlds have been loved and lost. Restaurants have opened and closed. I’ve taken the spiritual advice of those closest to me and chosen to remain inside the present, listening and growing until there’s no choice to spring out of the box and share my gift. And that gift is the simplest of questions and answers. What is love? It is what it is, and what it is is it’s everything.”
