We’ve got the first spin of The Beatangers third release on Kolombo’s excellent Loulou Records imprint.

The French duo’s rise over the last 12 months has seen them release g-funk inspired cuts on esteemed imprints included CUFF, Sharam Jey’s Bunny Tiger and Enourmous Tunes.

As well as a slew of well received releases they’ve also managed to find time to remixed French electronic royalty in the form of Etienne De Crecy’s ‘Hashtag My Ass’.

‘Freak’ – the release a-side which were premiering – sees the French duo continue their G-hosue aestetic, but with an added strain of electro running through it, as prickly basslines rub shoulders with G-house vocals for a serious piece of club weaponary.

The Beatanger’s ‘Freak & Flex’ EP is out September 17 via Loulou Records.
