The title track on Andhim’s latest EP has a bigger, bolder sound than the other stuff they’ve put out recently.

It still has the classic Andhim warm chords and twitchy percussion that we love, but the subtle, hypnotic, constant quality of, say, ‘Hausch’ has been replaced with slightly more mainroom-y sounding arpeggios.

B-side ‘Domplatte’ has a cleverer, more technical feel to it, with the distorted, hyper-repeated vocal swimming nicely across the chugging backline.

Here’s hoping the next one is more ‘Domplatte’ and less ‘Spayce’.

The EP is out on Get Physical on February 9.
