Nicolas Jaar has remixed Florence & The Machine’s new track ‘What Kind of Man’ into a 12-minute slice of caustic electro-clash.

Normally renowned for introverted, woozy style Jaar lets his hair down and ups the tempo for his reworking the ballad-heavy original.

Essentially he turns the original into a sleazy slice of electro-clash, backed by Welch’s reverbed vocals and grainy percussion – there’s so much going on in fact the 12-minute runtime isn’t nearly enough.

‘What Kind of Man’ is taken from Florence and the Machine’s forthcoming album, ‘How Big How Blue Beautiful’, out June 2 via Republic Records.
