Disco legend Giorgio Moroder has unveiled details about his forthcoming album, dubbed ‘74 Is The new 24‘, which will be released in 2015 via Sony/RCA.

The new album, his first for 30 years, will feature a motley crew of guests including Kylie, Charli XCX, Sia and Britney – basically anyone who is signed to Sony Music.

The 74-year-old music producer has enjoyed a career renaissance since he featured on Daft Punk’s grammy-winning album ‘Random Access Memories‘. Since then the producer has embarked on a DJ tour and has remixed Haim, Lady Gaga and Coldplay in recent months – not bad for a pensioner.

“[Dance music] doesn’t care if you are 74 or if you are 24,” Moroder explained. “[It] doesn’t care where you live. It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make,” he added.
