Manchester-based trio Club Clique round-off another successful year of remixes with arguably their finest work to date – a remix of La Roux’s ‘Uptight Downtown‘.
The Manc trio are no strangers to a great vocal, having remixed Lana Del Rey on three occasions, and like their previous remixes they don’t tamper with Jackson’s vocals too much; instead their focus is on the dancefloor, and stripping back the prickly original – which they do quite successfully with big, doughy keys, a snappy new drum line, and that vocal allowed to just run free.
