The Magician’s current single ‘Sunlight‘ is a bonafide singalong summer anthem. Featuring the vocal talents of Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, it’s easily Stephen Fasano’s most accomplished single to date, and we’re excited to be premiering the final remix to be unveiled from rising star, Watermät.

For those that don’t know: Watermät is a French producer, who has pretty much come out of nowhere this summer with his flute-infused house track, ‘Bullit,’ which was released in May via Dutch house imprint Spinnin’ Deep.

Bullit‘ was quite a divisive track thanks in part to its unique flute breakdown. And to be honest, Watermät’s remix of ‘Sunlight‘ follows a similar unconventional path. This time, however, Watermät’s choice of flute is the peruvian variety, which he uses to overlay over the track’s main bassline. Once you get past the interesting choice of bassline, there’s actually a really good house track to back up Watermät’s calling card as he brings the track to the boil not once but twice with the help of gurgling basslines and Alexanders’ anthemic vocals.
