American headphone maker Bose recently launched an fascinating series of short films about burgeoning music scenes from around the world ranging from Japanese Dancehall to the Mexican indie scene.
The latest episode focuses on Mexico’s burgeoning indie scene and follows an indie band by the name of Little Jesus, who have gone from recording songs in their bedroom to performing on Mexican radio.
Little Jesus are leading the charge for new independent bands taking their futures into their own hands. The film follows the band as they play a sold out show at seminal Mexico City DIY venue, and some of the challenges they’ve faced being typecast as a Latin-American band.
