L’Étranger returns with brand-new remixes package of his excellent ‘1997‘ EP which was released earlier this year via London label La Bombe.
‘Binary‘ was originally spassed-out piece of Oizo-inspired weirdness – and the new remix keeps a bit of that disjointedness. But make no mistake this is squarely aimed at the club, as L’Étranger weaves a complex tapestry of frenzied basslines, chip-tune melodies and chopped vocals. And did we mention there are harps? Well there are and they’re amazing too. It’s all rather excellent.
More of this please.
