Brit trip-hop group, Morcheeba performed an intimate gig for friends and fans last night in celebration of the outfit’s new album, ‘Head Up High.’

Opening the show with their down-tempo classic, ‘The Sea‘, Morcheeba went on to play a tight, petite set of old and new, closing with three tracks from the new album.

Lead singer, Skye Edwards vocals were typically on point as she cut an angelic figure on stage, dressed all in white and endearingly soft spoken. Nestled among the dreamy tracklisting, the bass-driven groove of new tune ‘Gimme Your Love’ was particularly well received, providing a toe-tapping finale to the seamless set.

A candid yet polished performance, Morcheeba once again proved they are seasoned professionals, continuing to delight listeners after over 18 years in the game.
