The White Lies are about to release their third album, ‘BIG TV’, on August 12 through Fiction Records, but before that there’s the small matter of the first single ‘There Goes Our Love Again’, which has been remixed by Belgian electro rockers Goose.
The Belgian group takes the fairly meek original and transforms it into a thrashing club offering completely reworking the original’s drums to add an extra level punch to proceedings. Then they bring the track to the boil with swirling synths and stabbing basslines for the impending crescendo.
The 12-track album was produced by Ed Buller, mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent and recorded early 2013 at the ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium.
The album will be preceded by the release of a single, There Goes Our Love Again, on Monday August 5.
