Nicolas Jaar, the Mr Slow of the dance world, has remixed Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ in its entirety, alongside a man called Dave.

Now, the Robots have been quoted saying that they would welcome artists remixing the new album – but is it cool for an established act to do it? Is a full album that’s less than 2 month old just fair game these days?

We’ve had a quick listen and while it’s not terrible, we just can’t help but feel Nic & Dave have defaced a future classic. So, if its not broken why try and fix it?
