Anybody paying attention to Erol Alkan’s (or his label Phantasy’s) Twitter feed yesterday would have noticed 2 bits of good news.

The first bit of good news is that In Flagranti are back on the scene with new music on Phantasy – possibly called ‘Headrush’ but definitely numbered PH27.

For fans of all things cosmic and disco this is excellent news. In Flagranti are known for such disco classics as ‘Hollow Discourse’ and ‘Business Acumen’. They make some of the sauciest and sexiest disco around – and they never fail to disappoint, even if you can’t leave their artwork lying around the house

The second bit of good news is that Erol has announced that once his classic Disco 3000 edit of ‘Brash & Vulgar’ gets one hundred reposts on Soundcloud he will make it available to download for free. Taken off the album of the same name from 2009, Erol gave it the Disco 3000 treatment making it longer and more suitable for dance floors.

Anyone who has seen Erol play in the last few months will have heard him dust off this classic and bang it out to a great reaction.
