‘Must Get There’ is the debut EP from Dutch disco duo Majestique which is coming out June 10 via Eskimo Recordings, the EP consists of one original track and two remixes from disco luminaries Drop Out Orchestra and new-kid-on-the-block Martin Dubka.

The duos music is clearly influenced by the likes of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder, ‘Must Get There’ is anchored in the 80s and is a futuristic slice over-the-top italo disco – basically it’s just brilliant, and that’s the end of it.

Remixes come, first of all, from Drop Out Orchestra, who go for a more jangling interpretation preferring to deconstruct the original and go the more low-key route.

To finish we have Dubka, he manages to find a middle ground between the two, utilising the bassline for a sometimes-French-house-sometimes-cinematic-disco remix. Arguably the pick of the bunch for us.
