Finland’s Jesse Oliver is fairly new to us, the Helsinki native has had releases on Portugal’s Discotexas in the past, who I’m sure we all know, but today’s release comes from our friends over at French imprint On The Fruit.

‘Purified’ consists of three tracks which range from banging Italo to futuristic synth wave, with all the tracks anchored in an overly dramatic futuristic hue that fans of Danger and Kavinsky will certainly enjoy.

Highlights are a plenty from the gurgling basslines of the title track to the positive keys of ‘2211’. It’s all stirring stuff, and interestingly constructed, too, Oliver admits he wanted a 100% analog sound, without any mastering, so to truly feel the sound of the machines he used.
