Having wowed us with his recent remix of Compuphonic and his work on Yelle’s new song, it’s safe to say Aeroplane is cruising at 35,000 feet at the moment.
Well, his current purple patch doesn’t end there as he’s unveiled another remix for Hamburg indie trio Pool, and their new single ‘Flex’ which is out today via Solomun’s 2DIY4 label.
At first it’s a charming indie disco rework full of chatty guitar riffs, hand claps and plenty of the vocal – but where it really shines is the Zimmer-esque bass hook that gives the track an extra level of futuristic complexity.
