Kavinsky is back. While it was a little disappointing that his debut album didn’t make it’s 2012 release date, the Parisian wannabe Zombie has softened the blow somewhat with a brand-new track ‘Protovision’.

It’s taken from his forthcoming album ‘Outrun’ which is should be out on Record Makers in February 2013. ‘Protovision’ continues Kavinsky’s love-affair with overly dramatic 80s film scores and chip tunes. For us, there is no-one making electro quite like Kavinsky, it’s full of screaming neon synths, pulsating bass hooks and a healthily dollop of Kavinsky’s shadowy narrative.
