Following hot on the heels of Alex Metric’s amazing remix of St Lucia’s new single ‘September’, Punks Jump Up have unleashed their version with just as impressive results.

It’s a typical PJU track; an almost ridiculous set of influences ranging from pop to folk, disco to acid house, seemingly flung together.

Thankfully, PJU have the ability to make it work as it turns out to be a smokey piece of driving 80′s synth pop, bubbling in sea of acid house basslines and looped vocals.

It’s probably not what you’ll be expecting but that’s why it’s so good. They’ve essentially made a disco-acid-pop-folk-house sandwich, and that’s always a good thing.

And you can grab for free from St Lucia’s Facebook page, which you’ll find here –> https://www.facebook.com/stlucianewyork/app_220150904689418

Out on Neon Gold in the US on September 25th 2012.
