Versatility is something that is lacking with a lot of the today’s throw away stars of the so-called EDM movement – but when a producer can turn his hand to almost anything then you know he’ll survive no matter how tastes change. Ex-Mustanger A.N.D.Y. stole our hearts last week with his ridiculously tropical track ‘The Room’ well he’s back and with a completely new direction.

Today he showcases his house credentials with his esoteric remix of Mike Mago’s ‘The Soul’ – basically it’s not disco, but rather a dubby house workout, perfect for those grubby warehouse raves everyone seems to love. It might have been made by a Belgian, but this harps back to the good ol’ days of Chicago house.

It’s not going to be to everyone’s taste, but it’s great to hear artists really experiment without the fear of a troll-like backlash.
