San Francisco disco producer Lane 8 grabbed our attention last month with his excellent debut track ‘Don’t Want You Back’ – and today he unveiled his latest track which features an interesting selection of samples from Diana Ross’ ‘I Will Survive’ to dialogue from Pulp Fiction.

To be honest we were hard pressed to even pick up on them, but that’s probably a good thing as ‘Dusty’ is an assured summer slice of disco, and while it lacks the impact of ‘Don’t Want You Back’ it’s stunningly produced and compared to the usual August drivel we’ve been sent, it stood out a mile.
