Erika Spring 'Happy At Your Gate' (Aeroplane Remix)

An Aeroplane remix is a bit of a rarity these days, but a free download – that’s like seeing a Unicorn. When one does drop you know it’s bound to be pretty special. He’s remixed Erika Spring’s ‘Happy At Your Gate’ and it’s very reminiscent of some of his earlier work, firmly anchored in the world of pop and is a sure-fire guilty pleasure.

The drums a suitably immense, deep yet snappy; he then layers doughy pads over gurgling bass hook, whilst using the tempered vocal to give it a ‘Paris’ quality – then you’re hit with a gleaming lead riff which shifts the track firmly into the realm of peak-time disco destroyer.
