Just as we’re falling in love with Blende’s remix of Surrender’s ‘S_M_A_S_H’ we’ve come across another remix of his which is now available from Beatport – it’s for Chinese Flashmob’s ‘Fade 2 Black’.
Once again he captures the unpredictability of indie music, with an urban vocal and a reassuringly steady four-on-floor beat. The London-based Swede takes the track to the surgeon’s table splicing the vocals with loads of off-the-cuff snappy synths and effects. The more we hear Blende the more we think he’s a Belgian in disguise.
