Helium Robots captured our hearts with their unique brand of intelligent electronica a couple of weeks ago – it’s hard to say what genre this duos music bestows, but if we were to be crude and lazy it would fall somewhere between the playfulness of Mylo and the textured soundscapes Trentemoller.

It’s not your usual 4/4 drivel, but something a bit more high brow – it takes a couple of listens to click, but when it does you’ll likely be taken in by the juxtaposition of the percussion and deep, mellow bass tones.

We’re excited to premiere the Tuff City Kids remix of their new single ‘Bring Drinking’ – TCK made a name for themselves with their label Running Back which has released music from acts as varied as Todd Terje to Tensnake. With the remix they’ve transformed the single into a spellbinding piece of analog twanging disco.
