Marina & The Diamonds is the stage name for welsh singer songwriter Marina Lambrini Diamandis. She’s another one of these impossible pretty, 20-someting singers – she rose to fame when she came second to Ellie Goulding in the BBC Sound of 2010.

She’s riding a wave of positive press during 2012 and is about to release her follow-up album to ‘Family Jewels’ in April.

To get the blogosphere waxing lyrical about this compelling Welsh talent there are a number of remixes commissioned for her current single ‘Primadonna’. We’ve got an exclusive stream from an old HBF friend Burns.

Now he was flavour of the month last year with numerous remixes for a host of acts including Rye Rye, Hurts and Yasmin.

There’s no doubt he has pedigree. But instead of farming out the usual 4/4 electro remix, he’s decided to give Marina some wobbles. Yes. It’s dubstep.

But, thankfully it’s not this over-the-top-wheres-the-drop American version. He’s goes for an unusual blend of atmospheric ‘step – it’s subtle and actually very original. Check out the stream below and pick it up April 16 via 679 Recordings.
